چکیده
Abstract Nowadays, the use of waste materials in concrete production is crucial for a clean environment and less cost. This study aimed to enhance some mechanical properties utilizing integral waterproof (IWP) admixture using ceramics as fine aggregate with finer particles improve compressive strength modulus elasticity absorption studied. Studies indicate increase by IWP only also reduction ceramic powder replacement normal sand, more advantages were achieved, i.e., increased from 41.7 47.8 MPa replacing sand waste, 25.22 29.61 GPa. The lowered 1% while it was 1.96% without waste. Durability against sulfate attack studied this research.

Performance of Copper Slag on Strength and Durability Properties as Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate in Concrete
concrete occupies unique position among the modern construction materials. Concrete is a material used in building construction, consisting of a hard, chemically inert particulate substance, known as aggregate (usually made for different types of sand and gravel), that is bond by cement and water. Now a days utilization of industrial soil waste or secondary materials has encouraged in construct...
متن کاملApplying Solid Residues of Copper Slag in Kerman Sarcheshme of Iran as Sand Replacement for Self-Compacting Concrete
The reuse of mineral wastes is one of the most suitable solid wastes solutions. Throughout the world, the large of the granular aggregates used in constructions exploit natural mountain resources and rivers. Using mineral waste as a part of concrete, it can be helped to create a green environment and also contribute to sustainable development. Since the copper production process in the Sarchesh...
متن کاملUtilization of waste glass as sand replacement in cement mortar
In this study, alkali silica reaction (ASR) expansion and strength characteristics of mortar containing waste glasses are analyzed in terms of waste glass content and glass color. Three different colors of waste glasses (white, green and brown) are replaced with sand at ratios of 10%, 30% and 100% by weight. The mixtures used in this study did not show a considerable ASR expansion. All batches ...

Industrial activities in Iraq are associated with significant amounts of non-biodegradable solid waste, waste plastic being among the most prominent. This study involved 86 experiments and 254 tests to determine the efficiency of reusing waste plastic in the production of concrete. Thirty kilograms of waste plastic of fabriform shapes was used as a partial replacement for sand by 0%, 10%, 15%, ...
